Transitioning To Fall With Shoe Carnival

*Shoe Carnival provided me with product and compensation. The opinions I have shared about the products are my own.Transitioning your off-the-shoulder top to fall Transitioning to fall Temperatures have finally started to descend here in Houston and although I’ve already made my Shoe Carnival run for some fall booties, ¬†it’s still not cold enough to put my summer clothes away. As much as I’d love to be wrapped around in a blanket scarf or snuggled up in a wool coat, I can’t wear anything more than a light summer dress & maybe get away with a super light jacket in the evenings.

Transitioning to fall can be quite daunting when you’re low on budget, but it doesn’t have to be so difficult. I find it easy to layer my summer dresses over jeans and making it fall appropriate with a pair of nice booties. Or if you don’t feel comfortable with the jeans & dress trend, opt for a chunky cardi over your dress and finish it off with the booties.

If budget is an issue, invest in one great pair, like the¬†nude suede Coconuts El Torone¬†I picked up at Shoe Carnival.¬†The quality is great which means they’ll take you from fall to even spring + with the great price points you might even have enough for two pairs;)
