My Thoughts About Blogging + Where I’ll Be Taking Daily Craving In 2017

Happy Hump Day friends!! So I finally took the plunge and am relaunching my ever so neglected YouTube Channel! Eeeek! I am so excited about doing this and hope you guys will come along with me on this new fun little venture. It’s been a long time coming but this time without any expectation of perfection or stressing myself out about it. I want this channel, as well as my blog, to be nothing but a labor of love and to represent who I am as a person and not just be “another one who fits the social media mold.

Check out today’s video to hear my thoughts on blogging, what I will be doing on YouTube & where I will be taking Daily Craving this year. And make sure to Subscribe!! ūüėČ

Thank you for stopping by,

I loved the video so much and I am so happy to see that I’m not alone in wanting to have a more authentic experience when it comes to blogging/vlogging. What we do can be exhausting. Speaking for myself, just being able to keep up with social media and posts, sometimes I worry about things I shouldn’t worry about and I place this stress on myself to keep everything perfect and it’s just not what I want to do anymore. I want to get back to the reasons of doing my blog (and maybe my YT channel more often) that I had in the beginning and not the constant stresses I had put on myself last year. So yes, I LOVED your video! Keep them coming!

Yes, it’s very exhausting and it really sucks all the fun out of it. I hope you get back into it and start making more videos always making sure that you are happy with the result. People will catch on to the authenticity of your personality and follow you for it. An I can tell you with all honesty you are one of the sweetest girls I’ve met on social media. Let your light shine honey!! Xo

Love you girl and so happy you are venturing in this area. I don’t even consider myself a legit “fashion blogger” but I totally understand how you feel about always trying to keep up and stress over that (on top of all the things it takes to create a blog post). I’m excited to see Daily Craving grow even more this year in blog + video formats. xoxo

    Hi Lily,
Your video was so beautiful..made me teary eyed. ‚̧ I just launched my blog a few weeks ago and have been absorbing as much as I can on the business. However I have thought to myself several times that I need to make sure I am always true to myself and what I love and not get caught up in a trap to always keep up with what everyone else is doing.
I loved listening to your heart and sincerity in that video. That is what this life is all about. So good! Thank you for sharing your heart and I look forward to more from Daily Craving. ūüėä
    God bless! ‚̧

Lilly, you’re so genuine! Don’t ever lose that or compromise that. I’ve always admired that about you, so I applaud you for sticking to your values. Your loyal followers and readers will love you more for it because it keeps that level of trust. I completely feel the same and won’t ever change that. Even if it means slower growth. Happiness first. XO!
