Pattern Play: Flannel Blanket Scarf & Trousers

Just a quick hello this morning since I’m getting ready to head out for a Holiday Blogger Brunch, and of course I have like a million things to do before I step foot out the door. #momlife

Apparently I’ve been all about prints lately and this windowpane one is possibly my favorite. I love that the print is in bigger scale, which makes the whole ‘pattern play’ concept a lot easier. I’ve had these pants for a little over a year now and I am still as obsessed with them as I was in the beginning. They are my go to pants on days when I’m not quite sure what to wear. I purposely got them a size up to get more of a slouchy/polished trouser feel.

This flannel blanket scarf is a dream! Seriously so soft and big enough to use as an actual blanket! (p.s. I’ve had a few of you ladies request a post on different ways to tie a scarf and I will have that up soon) Trust me, you definitely want to get your hands on this one. I almost got the white & black version of it but decided on the red instead because, well…Christmas. Haha!

Okay guys I’ve gotta run! Be sure to check back and take a peek at my holiday looks coming soon. Or subscribe to my blog (righ there on the right) and receive an email every time a new post goes up;)

Such a great outfit, Lilly! I never know how to wear a blanket scarf because I feel like it overtakes my body, but I’ll have to try what you did here. Ok, so I purchased my FIRST EVER fedora from Old Navy the other day and I thought of you because I know how much you love hats. Haha! I have always loved them, but I guess I never bought into it just because our closet is so tiny and we have so little storage in our house. Anyways, you look great, mama! 🙂

Thank you Linh! I swear you are one sweet lady! Haha, yes i’m a crazy hat lady, and we have limited storage here at home too but what I like to do with my hats is hang them on the wall. That way they aren’t all bunched up in a corner somewhere and losing their shape. Can’t wait to see which one you got!!
