The Most Important Thing I’m Packing For NYFW

Lifestyle blogger Lilly Beltran of Daily Craving sharing her must have item to pack for New York Fashion Week

I am beyond thrilled to be attending NYFW (New York Fashion Week) for the first time ever. I feel like I’ve dreamed about this since I was 14 years old and watched a special report on the local news about Fashion Week. Since that moment, I have been enticed and romanced by it all and knew that one day, “when I became a super stylish grown-up” I’d go.

It’s been crazy exciting shopping and putting outfits together. I think Fashion Week is the perfect time to let your inner fashionista out and wear anything that is maybe too over the top for daily wear. Think a see through top with a cute bralette peeking through, paired with a midi length tulle skirt & sky-high pumps. That’s for sure not something you’d see me wear to the grocery store or to pick up the kids from school. Haha! I seriously want to bring it all, especially my shoes! And for the sake of space and not having to check in multiple bags, I am bringing just a few basics that I can build an entire outfit out of by switching shoes, jackets & accessories. This leaves more shoe space in my luggage. #winwin

So one of those basics I’m bringing with me is this knit form-fitting midi dress. I’ll be wearing it with a floral bomber like I did below, and a pair of sleek black pumps. I’ll also be wearing it with a leather moto jacket, a cute bag & booties. Over a long sleeve striped top with cute sneakers and a newsboy hat. That’s already three entire different looks, all with the same dress.

One thing I’m for sure not leaving to NYFW without is my Dr.Scholl’s Stylish Step™ Insoles. These little guys are total lifesavers. And if there is one thing I know about Fashion Week it is that the walking will be inevitable and non-stop. I like to switch between the Dr. Scholl’s Stylish Step™ Heel Relief Insoles and the Stylish Step™ Ball Of Foot Cushions . I go with the Ball Of Foot Cushions when I’m wearing super high heels that need that extra support on the ball of the foot. Think Louboutin’s kinda high. Yep, wearing sexy heels like that and not completely collapsing within hours requires some major support. The Stylish Step™ Ball Of Foot Cushions are super cushiony and alleviate the pressure on the ball of the foot giving me more time in my sky high pumps before I need to call it a day.

The Stylish Step™ High Heel Relief Insoles are perfect for just a bout any heel 2″or higher. These are equally comfortable but instead of serving as support to the ball of foot, they actually take the pressure off of it. These are ideal for say day two or three when you’ve walked, sprinted and jumped in heels like you never imagined. The Stylish Step™ High Heel Relief Insoles helps prevent pain and will overall just make you feel and move more comfortable in your hottest shoes. Because ladies, there’s nothing worse than looking great and having a limp in your step because you can’t walk comfortably.

I seriously feel like I’ve been packing and repacking well over 5 times now. And every single time it feels like I’m forgetting something. Must be the excitement! I’ll be for sure stopping by Target one more time before I head out to NYFW and stock up on travels size toiletries and another pair of Dr.Scholl’s Stylish Step™ Ball Of Foot Cushions & High Heel Relief Insoles. They are conveniently available in the foot care aisle near the pharmacy in case you were wondering 😉 Don’t forget to grab your 10% off Cartwheel offer, find out more here.

Will any of you be in NYC for fashion week? I’d love to meet up and say hello!Lifestyle blogger Lilly Beltran of Daily Craving in a floral bomber jacket and messy waves

Thanks for the tip on making sky high heels more comfortable! Definitely going to try them. What brand/style are your shoes shown in the post?
