This weekend was one of my favorites in a very long time. Since our move -exactly one month ago- Erick started working 7 days a week. He’s working on multiple projects this summer and although we’re grateful that work is steady, the boys and I have had a tough time with it. Who else has an engineer husband?
Anyways, this weekend was exactly what we all needed. Especially the boys. On Friday Erick came home early and we were able to head out to one of our favorite spots for ice cream, coffee & pastries. We enjoyed our desserts then took a walk around the neighborhood. Going for a walk in random beautiful neighborhoods is one of our favorite things to do. We pick our favorite houses, try to predict what kind of family lives there and get ideas for our future new build;)
Saturday was equally nice. We went out for a little shopping and of course stopped for snacks at the corner store! We loaded up on Mexican chips, rice Krispy treats and cracker jacks. Yum.
Sunday was low-key but still so good. We spent time together. Sat at the table together for a family dinner and enjoyed each others company. I am so grateful for this much needed family time. Definitely recharged my battery.
Ok, let’s talk fashion. This $30 linen jumpsuit is what dreams are made of. I love the military vibes it gives off. (could be such a cute fourth of July look with a red bandana) It’s a good quality linen. Not too flowy but not so thick. And the best part is that it does not itch. Idk about you, but I HATE when linen itches! This one runs a little big (I’m wearing an small) and it’s great for long torsos. It’s so refreshing to find a jumpsuit that doesn’t ride up your lady parts;) The sandals are a new favorite. SO cute and only $23! Available in three colors, fully stocked and perfect for summer looks.
Have the best 4th! Eat lots of yummy food and wear something cute;)
