Confident In My Second Skin

When I think of a confident woman I think of someone who isn’t afraid to go after what she wants. Someone who believes in her own abilities & picks herself back up every time she falls. I’d love to say that I wake up every morning with that self-assurance but the truth is there are definitely days when I doubt myself in every possible way.

Thankfully I have a close group of ladies who empower me all in so many different ways. I can always count on my mom & sister for advice and a good laugh when I’m feeling down. And my good friends Brenda & Elly, who always seem to know just what to say to make me see things in a different light. When it comes to dressing I like to wear something that feels like a second skin. Whether it’s a fancy dress or a pair of skinny jeans & a tee, whatever makes me feel beautiful, comfortable but most importantly 100% myself is what I consider my power outfit.
