I think you guys already know I am more of a casual gal when it comes getting dressed for Valentine’s Day. I shared a similar look last year and I just realized that I wore the same pants and bag! Haha, I guess some things never change 😉
I am all about comfort. Comfort above all else. Because confidence and sexiness come from being comfortable in your own skin, am I right? I could play the girly girl card and wear a tight lace dress with sky high heels, but let’s be honest, I’d probably be super uncomfortable and that’s the last thing I want when I’m out with my man.

Erick and I prefer low-key dates where we can relax, be ourselves and actually hear each other speak. We usually go for a casual coffee date (we very rarely eat out, restaurants aren’t really our thing), and almost always end the night walking around downtown. I love the feel of the city at night. All the lights and business. there’ something romantic about it. It reminds me so much of NYC and Erick knows that.
This casual Valentine’s Day outfit is perfect for this low-key kind of date. Cause you know your girl is NOT going to be walking in high heel just to be cute. So sneakers are very necessary. If you’d rather go a tad bit more dressy, you can swap the wide leg denim for black skinny jeans and a cute but comfy heeled bootie. Still keeping that casual Valentine’s Day outfit vibe but with a little more sass if you will 😉
