Has it really been an entire month since I wrote a blog post? Oh my goodness y’all this pregnancy has been kicking my butt for sure! But there is a light at the end of the tunnel and I can almost see myself out of it. The fact that I got into this cute casual look is proof that there is such light.
I was really debating whether or not I should share this post with all of you. It doesn’t feel like “my best work” and it isn’t glamorous, adventurous or even too informational, but it is my reality. For the past month I’ve done nothing but make sure this little babe is growing healthy and strong. I’ve been making sure I myself stay healthy. Trying my best to eat all the healthy stuff even when I’m super nauseous. Making sure I exercise at least twice a week whether that is bike riding, doing yoga or just going for a walk. Drinking all the water and getting as much rest as my body requires. It’s hasn’t been glamorous for sure and it’s kept me away from social media more than ever before but it’s one of the most important things I’ve done in a long time.
12 Week Update
As of last Friday January 31 I am 12 weeks. 12 weeks and 3 days today to be exact. I cannot tell you how excited I am to be entering my second trimester. Looking forward to feeling more like myself pretty soon. Belly hasn’t popped out yet. We are still waiting for a little bump to make its debut 😉 I think I’ve gained only 5 pounds and I swear its all in my boobs lol.
Nausea – As of today I am still feeling nauseous mostly every day. It has gotten a lot better than before though. I can eat a little more comfortably and brushing my teeth isn’t as gross as it use to be. Drinking water is still somewhat of a torture but I do it anyway.
Bloating – Last week I started having major bloating. It is horrible and super uncomfortable, especially when I am trying to sleep at night. I burp almost all day long and it drives me nuts.
Constipation – Constipation has become more of an issue but I think the water intake and exercise help a ton.
Lack of Energy – Something major is the fact that I am starting to feel my energy slowly coming back. I’ve had a few days when I wake up ready to get dressed do my hair and makeup and run out the door. I still have to take it easy though. I legit finish getting ready and then need a break before I actually run out the door lol.
Other – Still constantly urinating, sore breast that seem to keep growing and nasal congestion that seems to never go away.
Another exciting update is we now know the BABY”S GENDER!!! I cannot wait to share! I will be sharing first on my newsletter so make sure you’re subscribed if you want to be in the know this week ;).
I love the look of jeans and a blazer for a casual look. Simple comfy and put together. Not sure how much longer I’ll be able to wear my jeans but for now they are my favorite comfy pair. Looking forward to dressing the baby bump as it grows and sharing new outfit ideas with you all.
