Back in the 90’s acid wash was probably the last thing you’d catch me wearing. well except for the time my mom put me in an acid wash denim dress. I was HIGHLY upset that she made me wear it lol! Fast forward to now and I am loving this cute little acid wash denim skirt. Paired with this white eyelet top makes a perfect summer outfit. I live in easy yet cute looks like this one. Gimme all the denim skirts and eyelet this summer!
I’ll be the first to admit that I have been really bad at replying to your DM’s. Guys, summer is seriously kicking my butt and to be honest sometimes IG is the last thing on my list of things to do. But, this doest mean I don’t appreciate you guys engaging with me or value the time your spend supporting Daily Craving. That’s why I thought it would be a great idea to answer your FAQ on todays post.
Also,I finally shared all about my favorite SPF brands! I saved it to my highlights in case you missed it. Scroll down for all your Q & all my A’s 😉
Answering your DM’s
Q: How old are you, you seem too young to have a 12 year old.
A: Haha! I get this alll the time. I am actually 32 (will turn 33 this fall)
Q: How long have you been married?
A: Erick & I will be celebrating 12 years of marriage on November 10!
Q: How do you get your kids to eat Veggies?
A: So many of you have asked this. I’ve been lucky with these boys. They’ve been great eaters since birth and never really had an issue with them eating. I of course have done my part and introduced veggies and all fruit as soon as they were able to eat solids. We also use a variety of vegetables in our meals daily. I also don’t keep too many snacks at home. We stock up on fresh fruit, yogurt, fruit pops and trail mix instead.
Q: What nationality are you?
A: I am Mexican
Q: Are you a SAHM?
A: I guess I can’t say that I am. For the most part I am home the majority of the time but I do have a part time job in retail. I love the flexibility of it. It allows me to still take my boys to and from their extracurricular activities, run Daily Craving and do all the things I do.
Q: What does Erick do for a living?
A: He is an engineer. His current title is Electro-mechanical Drafter
Q: How do you stay organized with the blog, family, etc. And what tools help you?
A: This is honestly a tricky question and I don’t have a right answer. Every day is different for me. Some days I work, others I have swim meets for the boys, and then others I have blog work, house work or shoots to take care off. Add PTA & PTO responsibilities to the mix during school months as well. My schedule is ever-changing but what keeps me somewhat organized is prioritizing. I make a list on Sundays and arrange everything from most important to less. I use Google Calendar which is synced to my iCal.
Most of the time Mondays are for swim meets (takes alllll day). Tuesdays I catch up on blog work. Wednesday & Thursday a mix of everything. And Fridays are deep cleaning day! Saturdays and Sundays we shoot, pick up groceries & do laundry. Also, its all by God’s grace I am ale to get it all done.
Q: How often do you shop?
A: I don’t shop as often as most might think. Erick and I work around a monthly budget. I mostly shop once a month and never spend more than $200. In the month of May I only got this acid wash denim skirt and eyelet top!
Q: I never see you wear designer pieces, are you against pricier items?
A: Don’t get me wrong, I love designer items. I appreciate the quality, design and value of it all BUT, I’ve never been the girl who HAS to own a designer piece. I’ve always thought that if I had a daughter then maybe I’d be more willing to invest on designer pieces that I could then pass down to her. I also never say never, but for now it isn’t something I’m dying for.
