20 Chunky Turtleneck Sweaters For Fall & Winter

Style blogger Lilly Beltran wearing a tan chunky turtleneck sweater and faux leather pants for a chic fall outfit.

This past weekend I had a realization…Us southern girls tend to belittle the colder fall & winter days we get. Sure we don’t get them all season long, but when we do , it is brutal! We are so used to saying things like “oh I wish I could wear those cute coats” or “gosh if only we had weather cold enough for chunky sweaters like that”. Guess what? We do!

Being from the south obviously makes us very vulnerable to wind chills below 60 degrees. So can we just stop acting like it doesn’t get cold here. Let’s stop freezing our butts off and embrace all the super stylish fall and winter clothes. I for one am not about to freeze my buns off this winter.

I love pairing a chunky sweater with faux leather leggings or pants. It is such an easy, comfortable and chic way to get dressed on a cold fall day. The combo of the two textures is my absolute favorite for fall. Plus you can never go wrong with a black and camel color combination this time of year. If a sweater isn’t enough to keep you warm, don’t be afraid to throw on a cute coat and put on a hat or beanie.

If there’s anything I will be stocking up on this fall & winter, it is going to be lots of cozy sweaters and cute coats. Cause even us southern girls NEED something warm and stylish to wear this season.
