Staying On Trend & Budget This Winter With Gap Factory

Staying on budget with Gap Factory

*This post was sponsored by Gap Factory, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Like with every other season, during the winter months I tend to go a little crazy and get the urge to shop till I drop for all the cute cold weather wear for me and the boys. Of course, hubby isn’t always thrilled but when mama gets all she wants AND stays on budget all is right in the world!

I will usually wait for a crazy good sale and stock up for the season only once. It’s easier on my budget and saves me the trouble of going to the mall/stores back and forth. And since winters aren’t too harsh here in Houston, I tend to go for layering pieces rather than big ticketed pieces. It’s very convenient for days when we wake up to 40 degree temperatures and jump to mid 80’s by noon!

I love shopping online at Gap Factory, it’s actually one of the boys’ favorite and I know that whatever I pick out they will love. Plus their prices are pretty hard to beat, and trust me when you’ve got two kids that are growing with every passing day you don’t say no to great prices. Staying on budget and looking trendy this winter | Earmuffs | Grey Subglasses Staying on budget when shopping for kids this winter  Evan is seriously obsessed with this hooded plaid shirt jacket. He tends to shy way from anything that feels too bulky and would rather wear something a bit lighter that he’ll be able to tie around his waist when it gets too hot.

I also always make sure that they both have a nice denim jacket in their closet. Denim jackets are the ultimate classic piece and go with absolutely everything! I love the subtle distressed details on this one Mason is wearing, just so adorable!lilly-0397 lilly-0157 lilly-0311On Me: Poncho (similar) & Earmuffs c/o Gap Factory | Pants | Shoes |Turtleneck || On Mason: Denim Jacket & Beanie c/o Gap Factory | Denim | Shoes || On Evan: Top, Jacket & Mittens c/o Gap Factory | Denim | Shoes

I always get plenty of gloves for Evan, he has very dry skin which tends to get pretty bad in the winter months so mittens and gloves are a must. Mason on the other hand needs all the beanies in the world. Like me, he can’t stand the rush of cold air in his ears so we go through beanies like nobody’s business.

Now you guys know I love hats and beanies as well, but this year I wanted to try something a little different and picked up these cute earmuffs instead. They are such a cute alternative to a beanie. I still get to protect my ears without messing up my hair! Genius!!
