I feel like I’m constantly talking about how minimal my style is & how much I favor neutrals over brights. This of course doesn’t mean that I don’t like wearing jewelry or fun accessorize to give my outfit a little more personality. On the contrary, I LOVE hats, dainty details and fun shoes. So I thought I’d share my take on how to accessorize a minimal look so that it doesn’t feel too repetitive or even boring.
• Add a fun hat or headband. Hats give so much personality to any look. You can make it your own by choosing one that fits your mood + they look good on ANYONE. But, if you’re not into hats it’s ok I totally get it, try a headband or even a bandana instead!
• Add an interesting shoe. Minimal doesn’t have to mean boring, try a pair of lace up sandals like these, flats with a fun detail or cool sneakers that will not only make your outfit pop but will also give you that casual cool girl vibe.
• Wear dainty stacks or layers. This one’s my favorite. I love to layer dainty necklaces and rings. I feel like it gives any look a super chic feel. Think Jennifer Aniston, that girl knows how to rock the dainty deets! If layered necklaces are still too much for you, try rings. I love my Margaret Elizabeth Stackable Rings. They are as cute as can be and I love that I can stack them up on one finger (for bigger statement factor) or wear them all on their own.
