This past weekend was probably one of my favorites ones in a long time. The boys and I packed our bags and headed to The Four Seasons Houston for a much needed family staycation. We arrived Friday evening during the torrential downpour, settled in and had the yummiest dinner at Quattro. Afterwards we walked through Discovery Green Park which is conveniently only one block away from FS. Gosh all the renovations on the convention center and the surrounding area are just so pretty, and the Super Bowl signage that has gone up is just so exciting.
We woke up nice and early on Saturday and ordered in the best room service breakfast ever! Headed back to Discovery Green to shoot a few outfit photos and let the boys have a little fun. The rest of our Saturday consisted of an amazing facial for me at the hotel spa (thank you Lorena!), cooking class for the boys with Chef Maurizio, which by the way is wonderful with kids. The boys loved every minute of it and cannot wait to go back.
We tried out the very first ever visual golf (leave a comment if you saw us in action on insta-stories) it was so much fun! But wait, we headed to the pool that evening and omg, these kids were like fish in the water. I think my favorite part this entire family staycation was seeing how carefree and genuinely happy they both were. Made my heart full for sure.
We ended our stay on Sunday with the most impressive and delicious brunch you can imagine. Gosh I had a hard time choosing just a few things to eat, haha. Definitely did not want to leave and we are for sure going back to dine at Quattro, play golf or indulge at the spa!
Are you in town for Super Bowl? I’d totally book at The Four Seasons Houston. Their service is next to non, food is amazing and the rooms are spotless! Plus you’ll be right around the corner to all the Super Week festivities.
